HOW TO : Rename Internet Explorer To Your Name

Here is a trick which you can use to rename the Internet Explorer browser and can have a browser of your own name. So whenever you will open the Internet Explorer, it will show your name in the header instead of its own.


HOW TO : Rename Internet Explorer To Your Name



1. Go to Start and click on the Run. Now type regedit in the open window. Press the Enter key and the Registry Editor will be open.

2. Now, follow this sequence

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

3. On the right hand side, create a new string called Window Title. While creating it, write your name in the Value Data field as I used my name Shaan.



4. Now, launch the Internet Explorer and you will find your name appearing in the browser.
